Cross County!

On Friday the 23rd of September it was cross county. When we started I felt good and happy. I started off jogging and then  running.

Our Bridge!

Last week we made a bridge and I made one too. First we had to draw our bridge and then we had to bring what we needed from home. We all tried to stick it altogether and Alex did it. I found making the bridge hard because of all the trusses !!!

My kete

Mrs. Anderson showed the ketes to room9 and I made one on paper.
First I made patterns on my kete and I cut it to make it in to a kete. Then I wrote my strength and stuck them onto my kete. It was fun!!!

I am learning about truss bridges and a truss bridge has lots of triangles. Some truss bridges have beams at the bottom or up above the triangle.

solar oven

Room 9 made solar ovens with pizza boxes. First I covered mine with tinfoil on the pizza box then I put black paper on the bottom of the pizza box. see you!!

I saw 10 hot air balloons in the sky.I saw 1 almost landing on the field.

Flax weaving

We went to the back of the playground and saw Mrs Anderson. Mrs Anderson taught us how to weave flax ropes.

assembily

We had an a assembily and it was very fun. I had to read my story and PMI. After I read my story and PMI we all say thank you for coming to room9's assembily.

The camp

The middle Syndicate had camp and it was fun I had fun on the slip and slide and swimming.And I liked it because we got to sleep in the tents.
